Lab-grown diamond Labor Day deals

By Klaus Thorup

A good Labor Day deal starts with the jewelry you want at a price you are happy to pay. Compare the final cost across jewelers, then check the discount’s exclusions and the return policy.

US Labor Day was September 7 in 2026. Some individual promotions may extend beyond the holiday; use the end time on each offer rather than assuming the entire sale weekend is still running. Current general offers are shown separately when no Labor Day promotion is available.

How to judge a Labor Day saving

Compare the complete price of the piece you want with similar jewelry elsewhere. An “up to” discount may cover a small clearance selection, while a setting sale may exclude the center stone. Check final-sale terms before buying a surprise gift.

What to compare before you buy

For an engagement ring, compare the diamond and setting together. A sale on settings does not necessarily mean the complete ring is cheaper. Use similar diamond weights, shapes, color and clarity grades when comparing sellers.

For earrings, check whether the advertised carat weight is for the pair or each earring. For a pendant, check whether the chain is included. Compare metal type and dimensions too; similar photographs can hide quite different pieces.

Does the offer suit your purchase?

Look for the eligible products, minimum spend, code, and end time. A free gift can be a useful extra if you already planned to make the qualifying purchase. Spending more just to receive it may cost more than buying the jewelry you wanted elsewhere.

Some signup offers apply only to new customers. Other sales have prices already marked down, or exclude loose diamonds and custom designs. Check the final basket before placing your order.

Should you wait for another sale?

We would not postpone a time-sensitive purchase solely for an advertised discount. Compare today’s complete price with a similar piece from another jeweler. If your timing is flexible, keep the product details and price so you can tell whether a later offer is better.

Start with our recommended jewelers or compare engagement-ring sellers. Our diamond price guides can help you judge the cost of the center stone.

Buying diamond jewelry for Labor Day

Check which products qualify for a Labor Day discount. Loose diamonds, settings, and finished jewelry may have different offers, and the largest advertised discount may cover only a small selection.
